Ally wasn't resting.

Well, no, that was a lie. She had rested. She'd conked out, twins curled up next to her, right after she'd gotten to Alec's room, but she kept waking up every five, four, three, two, one minute. All the waking and rewaking was giving her a headache.

The trip to Seattle took a lot longer then Ally remembered, but then again, she'd slept for nearly the entire duration of the trip last time. Car rides were like a sedative for her and the boys, anything longer than an hour and she wasn't going to be awake. Luckily that wasn't the case when she was driving, so there were no near death experiences. ( Read more... )
